  4. When should my dog begin puppy obedience training?
The earlier you begin training your puppy, the better. For best results, we recommend dog owners start puppy obedience training as early as sixteen weeks after the dog’s birth. Additionally, we can help you build a foundation at home and take preventative measures which will make the puppy obedience training go smoother even before your dog arrives.
  5. What is the cutoff age for older dog house training?
Successful older dog house training depends on the breed and personality of the dog. Contact us for more information about adult dog training and to set up an appointment for a free demonstration and dog evaluation.
  6. Does your dog training address biting problems?
Absolutely. Canine obedience training is part of dog training basics, such as biting, barking, jumping, running away, and other dog behavioral issues.
  7. What is involved in advanced dog obedience preparatory training?
Specialized companies offer advanced classes to dogs that have completed basic canine obedience training and whose owners wish for them to progress to more specific areas of dog training, such as search and rescue, hunting, agility, protection, therapy, and more. Canine Obedience Unlimited adequately prepares your dog for advanced specialized training with our all-inclusive basic dog training course.
  8. How long does the canine training process typically take?
As humans take approximately three weeks to create new habits, dogs take twice as long, depending on the breed, personality, and other factors. In general, most dogs can be trained in a period of six weeks.
  9. How long have you been training dogs?
Soon after graduating high school, Andrew Fraser began attending canine obedience training classes and putting this knowledge to good use for Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia dog owners. His exceptional flair for understanding canine behavior coupled with his think-out-of-the-cage training techniques have given Andrew a solid foundation upon which Canine Obedience Unlimited has been built.
